Patient care tasks include: provide basic bedside care, taking vital signs such as
temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Prepare and give injections and
enemas, monitor catheters, apply dressings, treat bedsores, and give alcohol rubs and
massages. Monitor patients and report response and reactions to medications or
treatments. Feed patients and record food and fluid intake and output. Help keep
patients comfortable; assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. May
administer prescribed medicines or start intravenous fluids and prepare meals. Teach
family members simple nursing tasks. Help facilitate communication with patients,
physicians, manager, and other members of the health care team. May help evaluate
patient’s needs, develop care plans, and/or supervise the care provided by nursing
aides. Record keeping and other clerical duties as needed.

- A.S./B.S. degree in nursing from an accredited college/university – RN or LPN
- Experience as a RN or LPN for 1+ years
- Experience in Private Home Care/Healthcare is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, families, co-workers, and supervisors in the English language
- Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
